Our thoughts on the Bet365 App

How to download the app on Android in India

From our experience, the bet365 app is available from your Android phone via two methods;

1. From your mobile browser eg. Chrome, Internet etc.
2. From the Google Play Store (dedicated app)

We were able to register for a bet365 online account from the web version and then either save the bet365 home page to your device’s home screen or save it as a bookmark within our mobile browser for easy access in the future.

The method of adding a bookmark or adding to your home screen differs slightly depending on which Android device you have and which version of Android you are running.

Both adding a bookmark and adding to the home screen can be achieved from within the mobile browser’s options area. This can be found from either

1. The button located to the right of the browser URL bar (represented by three vertical dots)
2. A menu bar at the bottom of the screen.
3. From a dedicated menu/options key actually on your device.

Once we were registered we could then go ahead and log in to our bet365 account. We like the fact that upon logging in for the first time we had the option of creating a 4 digit passcode so that access to our account was much easier and faster in the future. This was a great time saver and yet still kept our account secure from others.

There are a few subtle differences between the dedicated Android app and the web version, which sways us to using the web version more than the dedicated app.

We weren’t too keen on the fact that the ability to zoom in on your screen is disabled on the dedicated app. This forced us to watch live streaming in a standard window and we didn’t find any option of making the stream full screen. With the Android web version, we were able to zoom in on the screen to get a larger/closer look at the action.

We regard bet365 as one of the best apps on the market across all devices. Here we have given you the details of our thoughts and experiences from the Android version.

iPhone Guide

The iTunes app store has a dedicated app, which is optimised for both the iPhone and iPad. One of the best things that we find with this app, no matter what device we viewed it on, we got the same great mobile betting experience.

Once we had registered, we had a couple of options to make the sign-in process easier than having to type in our username and password each time. We had the option of setting up a passcode or using FaceID or touch ID (if you have a faceID or touch ID compatible iOS device) whereby a simple finger or facial scan opens up your account.

When we installed the app, we received access to the iPhone iOS widget. This provided us with lightning-quick access to the most popular events on at that time and will display odds for quick betting. If we made a selection we were then redirected to the app with that particular selection placed into our betting slip.

We could access the widget screen by swiping left from our locked or unlocked home screen. We couldn’t see the app widget at first and needed to enable it by tapping on the edit button located at the bottom of the widget screen.

We discovered that there are also handy subtle gesture controls built into the dedicated bet365 app that aren’t that obvious or well detailed, but made our life a lot easier. To go back to a previous page within the app, we swiped from the left-hand side of the screen to the centre. To go forwards again, we simply swiped from the right side of the screen to the centre. This saved us a lot of time when betting on multiple games and markets.

Another great little shortcut we used a lot was the force touch feature. This allowed us to get access to where we wanted to be right from the off.

Bet Builder

Bet Builder lets you create the pre-match bet you want on any Soccer match.

You can select from the most popular markets and, once you have added them to your bet, you can calculate your own odds!

For example, you can choose First Goalscorer, Both Teams to Score and number of corners to create one single bet with the price for the combined selections.

We found you can make up to six selections to create your unique bet. Choose from a wide range of markets, including (when available on the selected fixture):

• Match Result (Full Time or Half Time)
• Both Teams to Score
• Number of Goals Scored
• Players to Score (Anytime, First, Last, 2 or More, 3 or More)
• Corners
• Cards (Total, Player To Be Booked)

Make your selection and this will be added to the Bet Builder slip; repeat the process for up to five more markets and you can then calculate your own odds. Once you are happy with your bet, select the price displayed on the Bet Builder slip and the bet will be added to your bet slip.

With the fantastic Bet Builder feature, a range of offers and extensive pre-match and In-Play markets, bet365 is a great place for all your Soccer betting.

bet365 Casino app

We found four main categories at our fingertips here;

1. Video slots – Over 100 differently themed video slot games available.
2. Classic slots – A collection of classic, less complex slot games.
3. Table and Card – The place to go for all your classic online casino games. Roulette, Blackjack, Baccarat in various formats all available within this section
4. Live Dealer – Classic casino games brought to you by a real human being from either Asia or Europe via video stream.

There was also a dedicated favourites section that could be found in the bottom menu bar of the app.

With so many games to choose from it is no surprise to see it rated highly in our best casino apps list. If we particularly liked a game we had tried we could highlight the star (shown for every game) that appears in the top right of the game image. That particular game was then saved in our favourites section for easier access to it in the future.

There are big jackpots to be won and with that comes a degree of self-discipline and control. We urge all of our readers to gamble responsibly but bet365 also help out here too. Within the member’s section, there are clear gambling control options to help you not get carried away.

You can set deposit limits, time limits, self exclude for a given period of time or request for the account to be closed. We are all sensible gamblers here so we didn’t use these features much, but the fact the features were present reassured us that we were indeed dealing with a company that takes responsible gambling seriously.

For those who like a bit of poker, bet365 has that covered too. A difficult task as well with Poker traditionally being somewhat of a drawn-out game over long periods of time. Bet365 have managed to create a mobile Poker platform that allowed us to play speed games, perfect for when we were on the go or on a quick break. We did also find that there was the option to play a more traditional game of poker if we so wished.

There are different styles of Poker to enjoy such as Hold’em, Omaha and Six Plus Hold’em. Six Plus Hold’em is essentially the same as traditional Hold’em, only with the twos, threes, fours and fives removed from the deck. This makes a more exciting game but adjustments to your play need to be made as better hands come out more frequently.

bet365 cater for bingo fans looking for easy access to a mobile bingo app. Within the Bet365 app, we found great social features, loyalty rewards, value tickets and brightly coloured themes.

The bingo app is available across iOS and Android and our iOS testers also benefitted from having the ability to enable touch ID for added security (on compatible devices). This was found to work effectively and definitely speeded up the signing in process.

There is a huge variety of games on offer here in our opinion and there is something that suits most circumstances. We were impressed that people on low budgets can play tickets for as little as 1p, that there are social games where there is an element of interaction with fellow bingo players and there’s plenty of big jackpots available to be taken down. Our bet365 account opened up the opportunity to play and watch streams across Asia and Europe of live casino tables with live croupiers with the bet365 Live Casino app. here we had a choice of Baccarat, Roulette, Blackjack or Hi-Lo and there were a number of different tables to choose from within each category. There were male and female croupiers available, as well as the option to not view the live stream, yet remaining involved in the betting action via a digital graphic.

The Live casino tables could be viewed in both portrait and landscape modes, with the option of having the main focal point on either the live stream or the game table. This suited all our preferences here and catered for pretty much any situation.

Bingo Bet365 Play Home Games

The bet365 games app provided us with quirky themed games in the form of slots, giving us even more chance to win big jackpot prizes. There was a bit of cross-over here between some of the other casino-style apps from bet365, but overall we found the app to be nicely compiled in a format that works for those who regularly play on slots and similar types of gambling games. Graphics are a little richer here than what you will find within the Vegas app and there were film titles and cartoon-themed games that we recognised and wanted to explore further.
